I just got a new hamster, do you have any tips of advice for me?

I read a book all about taking care of hamsters so I know more than the average person who just goes and buys a hamster. But do you have any tips of advice for me with my new hamster?I just got a new hamster, do you have any tips of advice for me?
yeah, keep it out of your tighty whiteys!I just got a new hamster, do you have any tips of advice for me?
Give him/her alot of TLC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, there is this stuff you should probably get for your hamster, it is a stress relief,(hamster get the most stressed, when moved to new cage.) My hamster was also, very active when I first got him, he like never slept, so that running is normal. It is alright if you don`t let him out, everyday.

The hamster would probably like a treat (Iceburg lettuce, carrots, milk, yogurt, etc.) at least 1nc a week. DO NOT keep it in the bedroom, THEY ARE ANNOYING.

Really that is all, since you read the books, that is good, so did I
make sure you have little chew sticks or toys for them, if you dont give it to them, their teeth grow to about 6 inches, and then they brake off, (not good)
get ready for dissapointment seems like something always happens to them.
A rule of thumb for any pet it to be gentlier than you think you need to be with it. Animals LOVE you to be especially soft and calm and sweet to them. Avoid any rough play or rough touch etc.

My chihuahua is not shaking in a normal way. She is shaking from left to right. Do you have any advice?

I know chihuahuas are suppose to shake but it usually looks as if they are shivering my chihuahua is kinda shaking from left to right...almost as if swaying. Any advice as to what this might be, I'm really concerned. My chihuahua is not shaking in a normal way. She is shaking from left to right. Do you have any advice?
LOL- What? I have 3 chihuahuas and have never noticed anything like that. What made you notice this?

I think that you have a very normal, cute chihuahua. If this bothers you, ship her my way. I'll take her.

What is the best advice you could give a new nurse?

Regarding unseen challenges and dealing with doctors. What is the best advice you could give a new nurse?
As far as unforseen challenges, that will lessen as you gain more experience. Dealing with doctors is tricky. Try to gather all of the pertinant info ie: vital signs, o2 saturation, how long has this problem been going on.... then bring your info to the doc and explain what your concerns are and what your findings are to substantiate your diagnosis or concerns. If the doc starts getting too short with you, stand your ground and remind him/her that you are a new nurse and need a little more time to determine pt normals, etc. Good luck. What is the best advice you could give a new nurse?
My best advice is to look around until you find a hospital that works for you and has a staff you get along with. The nusing shortage affords you the ability to shop around before taking a big sign on bonus and signing a contract.
Marry a doctor, and retire!
patience with the doctors...empathy with the patients learn to take a deep breath and relax....you will have to do that a few times a day.
Do it naked.

  • What's the best advice you've recieved on loosing weight?

People always tell you diffrent things on what is key to loosing weight. What has been the best advice or best secret you've learned when it comes to weight loss? What has worked for you? What's the best advice you've recieved on loosing weight?
stop eating will work for sureWhat's the best advice you've recieved on loosing weight?
Many naturopath and holistic practitioners claim that losing weight is 90% diet and 10% activity.

The healthy way to do it is to eat only 'whole foods'. In other words, give up anything that comes in a box or bag and anything that is white! Do not eat anything refined, especially sugar in any form and more importantly, stay away from the poison artificial sweeteners.

Your diet should consist of mainly vegetables with a high quality meat (organic/grain fed and free range poultry) with very limited grains and fruit. Try to keep your diet mostly raw and don't overcook the meat as this makes it harder for your body to digest. Eggs are a great source of protein as well but try to use organic/free range and don't over cook! I eat two raw eggs every morning in a smoothie and I feel AWESOME and don't get hungry for at least 4-5 hours.

It's tough but you will be so healthy and it will show in your skin and your hair and energy levels!
It is no secret eating healthy and exercising is the best and safest way to lose weight. Why people don't succeed at it is because it take hard work and the results take time which people want result now. Look at what you are eating is it healthy? Cutting a few foods and replacing with healthy options will do wonders down the road. Eating healthy followed by regular exercise will aid in the weight loss process faster. You don't need to exercise 7 days a week. 3 to 5 days will show results.

    Good Luck

What has worked for me and the healthiest thing you can do is WEIGHT WATCHERS! I used to go to the meetings, but now that I have my books and stuff I can do it on my own. Some people choose to go to the meeting for support, but if you don't need it your saving at least $15 a week.
Don't eat junk food, don't eat salt, don't eat stuff that you KNOW is bad for you.

    Losing weight is COMMON sense.

Get some will power, get your *** to the gym, and eat HEALTHY.

I used to weigh a lot, spent a few years trying to diet, and all that other bull.

In the end the only thing that helped was getting my *** on the treadmill and stop eating the bull.
control ur eating is the main priority, avoid greasy food and over eating.

do alot of cardio (run, play sports, anything that will get your heart rate up, and yes even sex)

that's basically it, it sounds simple but it's hard to control especially when you have a coupon for buy one whooper and get the other FREE!! :D

p.s i got a fast metabolism so yeah, FEEL IT xD
more water, less salt, if you eat 2500 cals a day you will stay the same weight. so eat around 2000 a day. i know its hard. but just watch what you eat. no sodas!!!!!!! at all!!! absolutely not!!! do some crunches, try some push ups.
Like 20 minutes before you eat you biggest meal of the day (dinner) get a whole grain bread and put some vinaeger in it and the bread will expand to almost half of your stomach size
I have been trying Myloplex shakes. So far I have lost 5 lbs.
    Diet and exercise.
Change in diet and exercise becomes a lifestyle change...not a short-term change for convenience.
    Drink lots of water

    Lower salt intake

Do you have any advice for someone who's considering majoring in Computer Science?

Next semester i'll be majoring in computer science. Im a bit afraid yet excited at the same time. People i know say its too hard and complicated,so Im afraid it would be difficult for me as well. Any advice or information or your experience in that field. Is their anything i can read or watch to learn more.Do you have any advice for someone who's considering majoring in Computer Science?
The only advice I can offer you is not to listen to hard to what people say. I had a lot of people scaring me when I was starting college (saying how hard it is and how hard it would be to juggle work and school) and it's really not that bad at all... It's quite fun actually! I think people are too afraid of the unknown sometimes. Just relax, and don't stress on it. If it is something you want to do, you will enjoy it. Computer Science is a great (and growing) field to study!

Would you use a group on bebo or facebook to get advice on bullying?

I have an anti-bullying group on bebo called Stop The Bullies UK. Would you use social networking groups to get advice or trusted websites?Would you use a group on bebo or facebook to get advice on bullying?
    Hi there,

I think Bebo is a great and way easier way to advertise things.

Because Facebook has many factors, one of them is that you can't upload photos and it's just like a 'fan group'

But bebo you can add comments, you can upload photos AND CHANGE YOUR SKIN :)

Hope this helped you~! S2Would you use a group on bebo or facebook to get advice on bullying?
If you want to fight back I'd just search youtube for chuck liddell, I know besides his televised fights he has some infomative videos on pressure points and things that are great for defending yourself.

I am thinking of becoming a babysitter can you give me some advice?

I am always bored on friday and saturday nights, and I do need some money. I am only 12, but girls in my class babysit all the time. I would like as much advice as I could get. Is there classes I could take so that the parents will trust me more, and I won't be as nervous? Is there anyway I can get people to know about me? In my neighborhood no one speaks english except a few houses, and they don't have kids. I live in a big city ex Detriot, so it's kinda dangerous to put up fliers. Help?I am thinking of becoming a babysitter can you give me some advice?
Okay, your question does not make sense at all. No one speaks English in your neighborhood and they don't have kids. Where do you expect to do this babysitting? Makes no sense to me...I am thinking of becoming a babysitter can you give me some advice?
try ur local ymca or ywca they should offer babysitting classes. put an add in newspaper once u get sum training word of mouth is very powerful also.
