Yes but rarely. A lot of mockers out there, and a lot of people who just try to boost their points by giving crap answers. I use this tool for trivial things like a good recipe or a natural remedy, or help with a paper.

Yes. I learned that disagreeing with Israeli government policies amounts to anti-Semitism, and gets you a violation - freedom of speech does not apply in that case.





And being humorous is a violation too. Posting questions about ';current events'; is a violation if Americans haven't heard of the event, despite the forum being international.





And violations are handed out automatically without scrutiny.
You have to realize 90% of Y!A is ';Am I pretty?'; ';What color hair would look best with my eye color?'; ';HALP! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!'; (followed by a bunch of high school drama), or ';Everyone thinks I'm so pretty, but I think I'm ugly, here's my picture what do you think?';


That garbage creates a bunch of people that don't take anything here seriously and would just as soon tell you to go eff yourself. If people would quit putting up with the above type questions, the quality here would go up drastically.
I have gotten help but not advice. I have not solicited advice here yet.
about 5% of the stuff in Yahoo could be helpful to me~~but you have to


weed out the other 95%~~some people are very funny or very sad
