If you live in Dublin, what clothes do you advice to bring for a holiday from 12 to 20 August?

I am planning to visit Dublin from 12 to 20 August. I come from Italy. What about the weather? What clothes do you advice to bring? is it quite cold now?

I know that the weather changes, but more or less, considering the average temperature, what do you advice to bring? Is it similar to London? Thank you for your help.If you live in Dublin, what clothes do you advice to bring for a holiday from 12 to 20 August?
Thin layers are best so you can cool off or wrap up as needs be. A light rain jacket and comfortable waterproof shoes because it will probably rain.If you live in Dublin, what clothes do you advice to bring for a holiday from 12 to 20 August?
Please, ignore all the ';warm jumpers and coat'; advice...the Irish love nothing more than complaining about the weather! Although it's no Italian climate, Dublin is not cold during August! ;)

Dublin weather is similar to London, usually a couple of degrees cooler in summer time and a little less humid. At the moment it's considered mild (19-21c) and we have been experiencing more or less daily rain showers for a few weeks now; I'd consider it jeans and t-shirt weather, but bring a light jacket/cardigan and light scarf with you anywhere in case you get cold...and an umbrella! :)
the weather has been very up and down over the summer so my advice would be to bring some warm jumpers and jeans and also a small few things for sunny weather its been really unpredictable its been raining today but on the news its saying its supposed to be sunny tomorrow you really can't depend on it. hope ya have fun in dublin!
Oh for god,s sake the Temperature is a tepid 19 degrees,But lots of rain at the moment,A few pairs of jeans t,shirts and a leather coat will do ya.Unless your going to the bogs like bear grills and using a sheep for cover and food, its excellent.
The weather in dublin is similar to that of london. I'd recomend a light raincoat, combat pants (they dry fast!), jeans, t-shirts, a light fleece top.
warm clothes, its cold and really wet most days, but some days its hot, Normally its freezing cold here so trousers shirts and jumpers and a warm coat and umberella.
If I were you I'd stay in Italy! The weather is cold and wet so bring rain jackets and jumpers.
