I'm heading into my best mate's dad's work to talk a co-worker of his who's taken the time out of his day to speak to me about my career. They are in a good company and I want to leave a good impression in case I apply for vacation work their for my resume, so I think I should buy them a gift of some sort (bottle of wine? something...)
Any bright Ideas? What sort of a gift could you get for somebody to take time out of their work to give you careers advice?
Baked goods always work - some gooey cookies. Wine could be a problem - some work environments prohibit alcohol on their premises. What sort of a gift could you get for somebody to take time out of their work to give you careers advice?
a bottle of wine is fine but i don think u reli have to get him anything...u r the bosses' son anyway. Just create a good self image n he'll be glad he met u. Like dress up formal...talk matured...pop a mint b4 the meeting...lol.
No need. I'm sure the time off from work is something he appreciates already.
